  1. Jessica: Many thanks for publicising this. The talk was fascinating; ‘Id had no idea that a million and a half Indians had enlisted. One of those talks that seriously adjusts one’s view of the War.

    • So glad you enjoyed it. As you say, it is forcing me to rethink a lot of my assumptions. I thought the song sources were particularly fascinating. A whole element of cultural history that needs to be explored beyond ‘A Long Way To Tipperary’ et. al.
